ROOTED LOVEPlanted by the River Begin a night

Rooted Love

Every story is a seed.

A table where people tell the truth about their lives. Scroll, and the seed begins its journey.

  • Psalm 1:3

Rooted in Him

It settles into the dark.

Every honest story goes down into the soil first. That is where roots are made.

Watered by the river

The roots reach water.

When a story is spoken, the room answers it. That answer is water finding the roots.

  • Every response is water

Growing in Love

And it grows into a tree.

Planted by the River, living in His love. The night ends with a whole riverbed of stories.

What a night looks like

One table. One story at a time.

Rooted Love is a testimony experience for a room of people who want to tell the truth about their lives. It runs on any phone or TV. You gather, you host, and you hand it around the table.

01

Pull an acorn

Each person draws a seed prompt with a root verse. One honest question to answer at the table.

02

Share the story

They tell it in their own words. A quiet pause follows, so it can land.

03

Choose the soil

The storyteller names what their soil needs, and the River sends back a response.

04

Plant a stone

A stone sinks through the water to the roots of the tree. The riverbed grows all night.

Four journeys

Wherever the table is, there is a soil for it.

Every acorn belongs to one of four journeys. The draw leans toward where the room is, without ever closing a door on the rest.

Planted

For the one just beginning. First seasons, first soil, first honesty.

Rooted

For the one holding on. Stories of staying when it would be easier to leave.

Growing

For the one being stretched. New ground, new courage, real change.

Multiplying

For the one who pours out. What grows in you starts growing in others.

The River

Every story is answered by water.

When someone shares, the storyteller chooses what their soil needs, and the River sends back a response from one of four streams. It is never random and never repeats within a night.

Still

A quiet word to sit with. No fixing, just presence.

Flowing

A gentle nudge forward, spoken over the storyteller.

Deep

A truth that goes down to the root of the thing.

Carried

The whole room seeks God together for the one who shared.

A note for the facilitator

The table is safe on purpose.

  • The Pass. Once per story, a storyteller can quietly draw a new seed. No one has to answer a prompt that is not theirs to answer tonight.
  • Consent. Every touch response waits for a yes. A decline reads as an extended pause, never a spotlight, and the room simply moves on.
  • Redraws. You hold two redraws per story, so the response that reaches the table is one you are glad to read aloud.

Psalm 1:3

Like a tree planted by rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season.

Rooted in Him. Growing in Love. Multiplying His Kingdom.
